Abstract

The objective of the study was to find out the various factors identfying the tourist satisfaction through visiting two religious destinations in Kamrup(M) district. The researcher tried to examine the demographic profile in the visiting pilgrim areas. The study also tried to find out the relationship between overall satisfaction and the visitors satisfaction in the study area and its purpose. Based on primary data the research reveal that there is signifiacnt amount of positive realtionship in the level of satisfaction of tourist in the variables like accomodation, transporation, clealiness, free meals, darshan etc. For measuring and analysing the variable of level of satisfaction, the researcher used five-point Likert Scale, with 1=much worse than expected; 2 = worse than expected; 3 = neutral; 4 = equal to expectations; 5 = better than expected.
