Man is a part of nature but in these days he is endlessly busy in destroying nature for his selfishness. Interwoven relationship between man and nature is the cover stone for the sustenance of environment. Mankind is an integral part of nature and people must quit conscious of the benevolent role of nature in this life. It has been known from the ancient times that nature and mankind form an inseparable part of life support system. This system has five elements—air, water, land, flora, and fauna which are interrelated and inter-dependent. Deterioration in any one element effects the remaining four elements. If this deterioration is for a short term, it repairs itself and returns to original state but if it continues, the whole system becomes unbalanced. Humanity has the ability to make development sustainable to ensure that it meets the needs of present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
