Submission Guidelines
Journal of Survey in Fisheries Sciences (SFS) — ISSN: 2368-7487
The Journal of Survey in Fisheries Sciences (SFS) accepts manuscripts that are original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere. All articles are subject to rigorous double-blind peer review. We publish three types of manuscripts:
1. Types of Papers
Original Research Papers
Comprehensive reports of original research. Format:

Short Communications
Concise reports of limited investigations. Format:

Limit: Max 3000 words, 30 references, and up to 4 tables/figures combined.
Review Papers
In-depth, critical reviews of existing literature. Prospective authors must consult the Editors before submission.

Note: Corresponding author must have authored at least three cited papers in the review.
2. Manuscript Preparation

Language: English
-
Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
-
Spacing: Double-spaced
-
Paper size: A4 with 1-inch margins
-
Page Numbers: All pages should be numbered
-
File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
Tables and Figures
-
Tables: Numbered (Table 1, Table 2...), with captions above the table. Avoid vertical lines.
-
Figures: Numbered (Fig. 1, Fig. 2…), with captions below the figure. Use black and white (300 DPI minimum). Avoid embedded text. Combine parts with labels A, B, C...
3. Referencing Style
The journal follows a Harvard referencing system.

4. Submission Process

Important:

Upload the latest corrected version as instructed.

Image files should be uploaded separately via “Attachment file(s)” if needed.

Only Microsoft Word format is accepted.
5. After Submission
-
Peer Review: Double-blind review by 2–3 experts.
-
Revisions: Respond to reviewers with a detailed checklist explaining your changes.
-
Proofing: A final proof will be sent to the corresponding author for minor corrections.
-
Final Decision: Made by the Editorial Board based on review feedback.
6. Formatting Notes
-
Abbreviations: Define all acronyms upon first use.
-
Units: Use SI units only.
-
Scientific Names: Genus and species should be in italics (e.g., Cyprinus carpio).
-
Line Numbers: Must be included for all manuscripts.
7. Copyright & Disclaimer

No reproduction without written permission from the Editor-in-Chief.

Views expressed in articles are those of the authors and not necessarily those of the editors or publisher.
