Fee Policies

To maintain the highest standards of publishing integrity, the Journal of Survey in Fisheries Sciences has implemented the following fee policies:

1. Retraction Charges

• Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy and ethical compliance of their submitted manuscripts. In cases of retraction due to significant errors or ethical misconduct, the journal may impose retraction charges.

• Retraction Fee: $500 USD per article. This charge must be borne by the authors or their affiliated institutions.

2. Correction Charges

• Authors are expected to thoroughly review their manuscripts prior to submission. However, if minor post-publication corrections are required (e.g., typographical errors, author affiliation corrections, etc.), correction charges may apply.

• Correction Fee: $500 USD per article. This fee is the responsibility of the authors or their institutions.

3. Republication Charges

• Requests for republication—whether within the same journal or elsewhere—will incur additional charges, subject to editorial approval.

• Republication Fee: $500 USD per article. Authors or sponsoring institutions are responsible for this payment.

4. Payment Procedure

• Full payment must be made prior to the initiation of any retraction, correction, or republication process.

• Upon formal notification or approval of a request, payment instructions will be shared by the editorial office.

5. Waiver Policy

• Waivers for retraction, correction, or republication fees may be granted under exceptional circumstances, such as demonstrated financial hardship.

• Authors seeking a waiver must submit a formal request along with detailed justification to the editorial office for consideration.

6. Policy Enforcement

• Failure to comply with these policies may result in the suspension of future submissions from the author(s) or their affiliated institutions.

• These policies are intended to uphold the scholarly integrity, accuracy, and transparency of the journal’s published content.
